Minecraft premium wont connect to any servers!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP

Okay Im sorry GDION. I was just trying to tell what I did when I had the same problem. Thats why in the end I asked him about his Anti-Virus which includes Firewall. Read all the posts! Your ALWAYS trying to get a mistake out of EVERYTHING I do.

On a side note, I am new to windows 8, and don't 100% know how it works. Put your mouse in the top right corner of the screen, and click the search icon that pops out from the right in white. Then click on the settings icon, and type in "firewall", then it should have a link to a firewall pane to the left. Click on it and use that security settings window to add minecraft to the allowed connections list (assuming you are allowed to do that).

I can't even use it as administrator. It just says cannot connect to server. Could this be an internet problem? Because the internet connection here is really insecure. My other laptop at my mom's house works perfectly for minecraft and it's super old. I have just received a new PC for Christmas. I'm kind of thinking that it's just bad internet connection. I tried everything. Is there anything else you can do for me?

If you recently got premium, it means your firewall must be blocking it, as it is a new program (premium client, instead of cracked) that you have not yet granted permission to receive and send out connections. Go into your firewall settings and check for anything to do with minecraftSP. Change that to minecraft without the SP. Or right click on minecraft and run as administrator (I don't use windows but I am sure that gives you superuser permission to run things, so the firewall should allow it. If not, do what I said above).

If none of the above worked, try this:

If you have hamachi installed, some people are unable to connect with it installed, try un-installig it, the uninstall feature came with it, and should be in it's main file in your %appdata%.

It's a new PC so I don't have much virus protection. But I do have McAfee. I don't know what the heck a "TTM" file is -.-

OH. Did you get premium?

Umm...well. Is your internet on, first of all. Wait , when you press "Enter" or "Force Update" Does it go blank (black) or does it get stuck on this line "Retrieving lwjgl files" . If its not that you have TTM files missing. Then do this: delete everythign related to MC (all texture packs, delete Minecraft, then go to "Run" and type "%appdata%" and go to ".minecraft" and delete that. Double check by going to Search and type Minecraft and delete them. Then just download.

Which one is it?

1. When you press Enter it goes blank
2. WHen you Force Update it gets stuck on ""Retrieving lwjgl files"
3. Neither, then try the "Delete Everything " solution.

If nothing works tell me your Anti-Virus software. Which one is it?
